INTRODUCTION
Inspired by the modern architecture of a city in the Middle East and its contrasting natural environement, the Photo series "Mosaiques" shows a geometric composition which includes symmetric patterns, a tribute to the non figurative Arabian art.

In this Series, Isabelle Avenarius is playing with different scales using the skyline and the landmarks of Abu Dhabi as tiles to create new mosaics with geometrical patterns. These prints on acrylic (Diameter 100 cm) are signed and available in a limited Edition of seven.

In this series the perceptive texture and bright colors give the illusion of a traditional mosaique tile or a wood inlay work, referring to the artist's early childhood in Morocco and later journeys to Granada, Istanbul, Muscat and the U.A.E.
