Inspired by the modern architecture of a Middle Eastern city and its contrasting natural surroundings, the photographic series Mosaiques presents geometric compositions featuring symmetrical patterns, paying homage to non-figurative Arabian art.

Mosaiques Abu Dhabi (2015)

In this series, shifting scales are explored, with Abu Dhabi’s skyline and iconic landmarks serving as tesserae to form new mosaics of geometric patterns. These acrylic prints (100 cm in diameter) are signed and available in a limited edition of seven.​

Mosaiques (2013-2014)

In this series, the rich textures and vibrant colors evoke the appearance of traditional mosaic tiles or intricate wood inlay, reflecting the artist’s early childhood in Morocco and subsequent journeys to Granada, Istanbul, Muscat, and the U.A.E. These acrylic prints (100 × 100 cm) are signed and offered in a limited edition of seven.
