Biography
Isabelle Avenarius (France) was born 1972 in Casablanca and grew up in Paris. She graduated 1995 from the European Business School (Paris, London and Munich) and holds a Master's degree in Marketing and International Strategies.
From Munich to Zurich parallel to her career, she developed her art practice in both painting and photography and started to exhibit her work in Galleries 2008. In the same year she became Bestseller on the online gallery whitewall.
Using her camera as a pencil, playing with light and movement, she uses canvas as a medium. Her inspiration in various places such as Giverny, Scandinavia and Peru has led to three photo series Natural Impressions I and II and Between Land and Sea .
Isabelle Avenarius has been living in Abu Dhabi in the U.A.E. between 2012 and 2015 where she has found a new source of inspiration for her artistic work. She has successfully exhibited her newest Photography series called MOSAIQUES. All pictures are direct prints on acrylic, signed and available in a Limited Edition of seven.
She is now based in Bordeaux & Hossegor in France. She is creating and exhibiting, inspired by her new environment.
